West Marine (WMAR) sunk investor perceptions and announced delays in finalizing the audit and therefore confirming their year end numbers. Geoff Eisenberg, West Marine's CEO, stated: "While we are working to finalize our audit, we are pleased to say that, as previously reported, we had a year that exceeded our budgeted expectations and we want to thank and reward our Associates for their dedication and hard work that made this possible.". They claim to be working through the final audit items with a new accounting firm whom they did not name at this time.

Significant positions in both legacy investments such as Geico and Burlington Northern and then they have major stock positions which they can sell off. The problem with the large legacy positions is that they are not saleable under any circumstances.

Lowes (LOW) reported Q4 earnings headlining the new $5 billion dollar share re purchase program. For the fiscal year ended , 2010, net earnings declined 188 percent to $178 billion and diluted earnings per share also declined 188 percent to $121 Robert A Niblock, Lowe's chairman and CEO said improvement in many bigger ticket, project categories, provides an encouraging sign that consumers are gaining the confidence to take on more discretionary projects

Bombardier (BBD Toronto) ran into some geo political problems with CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co. Ltd threatening legal action unless the new Montreal Metro contract was re opened for bidding. They have promised to build locally in Montreal As best we can determine Zhuzhou is owned by the Chinese Government and operates very similarly to a government owned corporation
